Apothica Teas is a Victorian Steampunk-inspired tea room that specialises in custom tea blends and a lovely variety of light refreshments. Located on Main Street in Niles, Michigan, Apothica is a place to practice deliberate stillness and civilised mindfulness in a busy world. Offering products and works from local artisans and artists, Apothica Teas takes pride in serving the community we call home.

Fairy Tea Party for Whimsical Grown Ups | Thurs. March 6th | 6pm

Join other whimsical grown ups for a fairy themed tea party. We will have endless glittering tea to sip, and fairy-themed treats for your consumption. An ethereal craft and fairy hair makeover is also included. Finklepott's Fairy Hair will be available during the event to add sparkling semi-permanent tinsel to your hair. 5 strands of hair tinsel are included in your $22.50 ticket. Join Alexandra Hibshman, watercolor artist and educator, for a Spring Florals Watercolor Workshop at Apothica Teas! Enjoy a cozy and inspiring atmosphere as you learn to paint beautiful spring blooms using watercolors. Alexandra will guide you through watercolor techniques, from basic brushstrokes to layering and blending, helping you create your own floral piece. Warm Brie

A wheel of double cream brie, topped with locally made jam and heated until it’s gooey and ready to spread on crostini or gluten-free crackers. We suggest apricot or blackberry jam, but other options may be available. It makes a lovely shareable appetizer. This is only available in-house, and does not require a reservation.
Take and Bake Cornish Pasties

We fill our house-made pasties with beef, potato, carrots, onion, seasoning, and rutabaga locally sourced from Shelton's Farm Market, encase them in a hot water crust, and freeze them as a two pack in vacuum sealed bags. If you purchase this online, please indicate a store pickup time. These cannot be shipped. They are also available singly in house. We bake fresh to order without a reservation- but they take about 30 minutes. (We have some lovely appetizers available while you wait, though!)

Clotted Cream (8oz jar)

Clotted cream is a thick, creamy, white spread, the consistency of softened cream cheese. The ubiquitous accompaniment for clotted cream is a scone, along with some jam, but this British specialty is also delicious with muffins and quick bread. Quantities are very limited.

Bubble Tea

This drink has a number of monikers, including pearl milk tea and tapioca tea, but it's most commonly referred to as bubble tea or milk tea. The term "bubble tea" is actually a reference to the milk froth that forms when the drink is shaken, not the chewy pearls (or "toppings") in the drink that resemble bubbles.
How to make the perfect glass of bubble tea-
First, pick a base:
